Abstract

This study's main goal is to solve the generalized nonlinear fractional Schrödinger–Hirota equation analytically using the generalized exponential rational function approach. By using various ansatz methods with time-dependent coefficients, bright and dark optical solitons to the model under consideration are successfully generated. In order to better comprehend the responses, a graphical analysis of the answers' variations is taken into consideration in the following using Mathematica software. These results can be used to develop novel models in optical fibers, industrial research, condensed matter physics, and plasma physics. Additionally, comparison elements related to some earlier efforts are offered for these kinds of solutions in order to emphasize the significance of the gained answers.
